We are looking for a female Crew Chef for a 55 meters yacht with a least 1 years' experience on 45 m+ Yacht in a similar role or with a strong hospitality background
Desired Qualifications & Attributes:
➢ Culinary Trained with a Chef Certification including Advanced Hygiene and Food Preparation
➢ You MUST be fluent in English - spoken and written. Other languages will be a plus.
➢ Valid Passport & Seaman’s Discharge Book
➢ ENG1 Seafarers Medical Cert (valid Min 3 months)
➢ Driving License
Experience you will need to have:
➢ A minimum of 1 years on large (45m+) yachts or a strong hospitality background
➢ Self-motivation and passion - with a drive to better your skills and wanting to learn from your superiors
➢ Have a keen eye for detail and standard in relation to all aspects of the galley’s activities
➢ Assisting with food preparation, the maintenance of cleanliness and high standards of hygiene in the galley, mess rooms, pantries and storerooms.
➢ To perform other duties as directed by Head Chef
➢ Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
➢ Ability to be a team player
➢ Have attention to details
➢ Ability to work well under pressure
➢ Remain calm and courteous at all times
➢ Female only due to cabin arrangements
Salary: 3000 Euros/month depending on experience. 38 days leave per annum with 1 return flights per year to home port

The yacht is Med based, private and very busy during the summers. The Chefs are given a lot of freedom to be creative and the budget for provisions is excellent. State of the art galley, the boat launched last year and the crew are very well looked after.
The ideal candidate will have a strong restaurant background, preferably with Michelin Star experience. At least one season on a yacht would be beneficial and you must be well presented and keep yourself fit. The crew are sports mad!
Excellent package on offer for the right person - 5:1 rotation.
Due to cabin arrangements the position is only open to male candidates I'm afraid. Priority will be given to those already in Europe.

We are currently looking for a MALE CHEF for a busy 35m yacht with an exciting itinerary.
Itinerary: East coast USA, Caribbean, Central America, maybe Cuba
Start date: First week of April.
We prefer to look at local candidates first!
You need to:
-Be male
-Have all certs valid and up to date
-Valid B1B2
-Have at least 1 year experience as chef on yachts
-A few years of high end restaurant experience
-Great contactable references
We offer:
-3 month probation period, after 3 months the position can become permanent.
-After 3 month probation full medical and dental insurance
-Salary DOE
-1 month payed vacation and flights included
Fishing experience would be a plus as the owners love fishing and travel accordingly.
They love family style, simple but delicious meals, but also love plated, more Michelin type food. The yacht runs with 5 crew, you must be willing to help out on deck every now and then.
The rest of the crew is from SA, so putting up a great BRAAI is mandatory.

A 27+M SWS Sailing Yacht is looking for a Cook / Steward (Male Due to Cabin Arrangements) with at least 2 season's experience on similar or smaller sized vessels to start in Italy by April 1st, 2017
Candidates must hold at least a Yacht Rating, & * B1B2 and Schengen Visas.
The boat is a recent Refit, SWS cutter, with 3/4 crew, now based in Italy.
Preference for candidates already in Europe.
The normal Cruising area is Summer in the Med and Winter in the Caribbean, with plans to cruise in North America.
The boat does both private and charter and pays in Euros, salary is industry standard, for this full time Position.
Language: Must be fluent English, some Spanish and /or Italian are welcome.
Perks: 13th Month check and flight home / back after 12 months service, plus Insurance.
Preferences for candidates with Tender Driving experience.
