We have recently started to recruit for an amazing company in the mountains that run high end luxury Chalets in Morzine and Meribel.
If you are looking for a change of scenery and want to replace the sea view for a fresh pow view, this job could be yours.
They often hire yacht crew with a passion for the mountains.
There are 5 CHEF roles available, and this could be a great opportunity to work with your partner as chalet host or driver.
You need to have or be:
-Male and female chefs may apply
-Available from the end of November until the end of April
-Experience in the catering industry, Ideally with recognized qualification or extensive kitchen/galley experience
-Experience with dietary restrictions
-Passion for great tasting and beautifully presented food
-You must also have a valid work permit if you are from outside the EU with a National insurance and UK bank account
-Candidates with previous chalet experience will get preference
-Great references as I will check them out
We offer:
-Competitive salary DOE
-Central accommodation close to shops, bars and restaurants. (Usually sharing room with 1 other)
-Full area Ski season pass (3 valleys or Portes Du Soleil)
-Return Air travel to/from resort
-Ski/Board hire for the season
-Technical Ski jacket plus uniform
-All food whilst working
-Free reign in the kitchen with a generous food budget
-Lots of Skiing/Boarding time
-6 days on, 1 off

We are looking for bright, independent, hardworking and flexible chefs to cook a modern international menu six nights a week. Our premium chalets require our staff to deliver a 5 star service to compliment them. You will be required to cook to a high standard of cuisine including: breakfast, canapés and 3-course evening meal. 10-12 guests. Their Chalets tend to be 90% sold out over the winter period
As a result most Chefs (couples) return every winter!

Seeking a Sous Chef for a leading wine produce estate situated in Franschhoek Valley, Western Cape. The salary on offer for this position is market related.

We are requiring someone with a spontaneous personality and a positive nature. Ideal candidate will be a vibrant chef, bursting with creative ideas and eager to express his/her creativity.

Successful candidate will be expected to integrate and work closely with both qualified and unqualified colleagues, raising working standards and pushing creative boundaries.

Responsibilities:
• Preparing salad and side dishes for the Harvest Table, assisted by kitchen personnel and with input from the Head Chef.
• Delegating responsibilities to staff members.
• Working closely together with the rotisserie chef in planning food quantities for functions and large lunches.
• Supervising cleaning schedules and systems put in place by the Head Chef.
• Greatly involved with both preparation and execution of cooking classes and cooking demonstrations.
